FOUNDER

Mariana Stephens
Founder
Mariana recently completed her MBA at Emory Goizueta and is building IDEAS Global Tech with a three-person team, working alongside Georgia Tech and neglected tropical disease experts. This is her first company. She joined the Hatchery for the structure, mentorship, and community needed to make the transition from researcher to founder, and completed 35 customer discovery interviews during the program.
Former healthcare executive with deep domain expertise in women’s health. Strong product-market validation through clinical partnerships and user research.

Built for starting, not just tracking

Intestinal worms remain endemic in communities that cannot access precise, affordable diagnostics — and the research that could change that routinely stalls before it becomes a product anyone can buy or deploy. IDEAS Global Tech addresses both halves of that failure with a handheld diagnostic device, developed alongside Georgia Tech and NTD experts and validated in a Tanzania field pilot. The company is post-research and pre-revenue, with field data in hand and global health partnerships established. The current focus is finalizing manufacturing design and building the foundation for scale.
