Co-Founder
Hamraj is an Emory undergraduate co-founding Helping H.A.N. with a fellow student, pairing computer science and health-research backgrounds alongside a clinical advisor network at Emory. The team has been building part-time since mid-2025, with a working prototype that analyzes swallowing audio to flag early signs of dysphagia in head and neck cancer survivors.
Former healthcare executive with deep domain expertise in women’s health. Strong product-market validation through clinical partnerships and user research.

Closing the loop between monitoring and rehab

Nearly half of long-term HNC survivors experience moderate-to-severe dysphagia, and more than a quarter have received no swallow therapy since finishing treatment, with no way to track decline between clinical appointments. Helping H.A.N.'s throat microphone analyzes swallowing audio, scores swallowing quality from the acoustic patterns associated with dysphagia, and delivers personalized exercises — closing the loop between monitoring and rehabilitation in one experience instead of two disconnected steps. The approach builds on published research linking acoustic signals to dysphagia, and early prototype testing has already confirmed that throat-microphone recordings pick up meaningful, measurable differences in swallowing quality. The company is pre-revenue, with a feasibility study on recovering HNC patients targeted to validate the prototype with real patient data.
