Mendy Lebowitz
Founder CardioSight
MD/PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Emory University and Georgia Tech. Mendy is building CardioSight on the thesis that routine imaging can become a scalable platform for earlier detection and prevention of cardiovascular disease. The team has trained and validated its models on more than 75,000 CT scans across multiple imaging cohorts, with external validation in VA and NLST datasets. During the RightShift Accelerator he completed 60 customer discovery interviews, working from The Hatchery and HSRB II alongside a four-person team.
Former healthcare executive with deep domain expertise in women’s health. Strong product-market validation through clinical partnerships and user research.

The scan has already been taken

Cardiovascular disease is still identified too late, while the imaging that could have flagged it sits unread for that purpose. CardioSight reads cardiometabolic fat depots throughout the chest from CT scans that are already part of clinical care, and converts them into a long-term risk signal for heart attack, stroke, heart failure, and death. Because the input is imaging that already exists, adoption requires no new equipment, no additional radiation exposure, and no workflow redesign for the health system — the deployment barrier that usually stalls diagnostic AI.
